Our main aim is to produce top quality game birds for sale to shoots throughout the country and as a subsidiary business we also supply brooder huts, pen sections and all types of rearing equipment built by ourselves using good quality materials.

The laying stock are over-wintered on our farm and then rigorously selected to ensure that we only breed from healthy birds.

The hatchery has been purpose-built to the highest specification with hygiene being of paramount importance.

All our poults are grass reared on fresh ground each year and well hardened off to ensure strong healthy birds reared for their high sporting ability.

As a family run business we have many years experience in game rearing. It is not just down to luck that it is possible to produce high quality poults. A healthy laying flock produces good quality eggs, which are hatched in a hygienic hatchery. The chicks are then reared in clean well built huts on fresh ground each year. Fed on good quality food and the stocking densities in all our units are kept at a sensible level as this is a key factor concerning bird growth.

Whitsleigh Game uses the services of a Specialist Poultry Vet Team, who rigorously inspect all our birds at many stages in their development to ensure that you, the customer, get what you pay for, which is well feathered and healthy birds. This in my opinion is key to encouraging repeat business which is something we have been very successful in achieving. References available on request.
